Castella McKenzie was born on the beautiful island of Jamaica, where his early years
helped shape his values of resilience, community, and determination. At the age of 17,
he migrated to the United States in pursuit of greater opportunities and a brighter future.
He attended Morris High School, graduating in 1994, and continued his academic
journey at Bronx Community College before transferring to Hunter College, where he
earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1999. He went on to earn a mastered degree
in education followed by a School District Certification in administration. His passion for
education led him to begin a meaningful career in the New York City Public School
System, where he served diligently as a teacher, then advanced to Assistant Principal,
and ultimately achieved the role of Principal. Throughout his career in education, he
remained deeply committed to supporting students, uplifting families, and contributing to
stronger communities.
In addition to his work in education, Castella has expanded his impact by becoming a
dedicated real estate agent. In this role, he helps individuals and families navigate
important life decisions, whether they are purchasing, renting, or selling a home,
apartment, or business. He approaches every client with integrity, care, and a strong
work ethic, ensuring that each transaction is handled professionally and in their best
interest. Castella takes pride in his ability to get the job done efficiently and correctly,
always keeping his clients’ goals at the forefront. His combined experience in education
and real estate reflects his unwavering dedication to building a better future for others.
